Blog For Music Video!

 Hey bloggers! I have great news. My group has made great progress! We are back on track since we focus more on our music video. Although we did have some hardships at first, we are doing way better and have already filmed some media. 

The media we filmed was us watching movies! We decided to watch many movies that piqued our interest. It was an amazing experience to spend time with Angelica and Jaden. I didn't think we would end up being good friends. Not only has this helped us better to make good progress on our assignments, but also it has helped us socially and we can depend on each other for future activities in other classes. 

Moving on to our future films, This Thursday we are thinking of going to the mall. We also might bring a new friend along because they just want to spend time with us. Her name is Vanessa, she is really nice so I look forward to hanging out with her as well. However, this Tuesday, for Halloween, we are going to try getting some footage of us with our friends too. But it does seem quite difficult since nobody knows what they are going to do for Halloween.

But nonetheless, I am glad my group could overcome the issues we had in the first place. I look forward to creating more memories and having a great time with the making of this music video. That is all for now and thank you for reading!

Blog For Music Video Process

 Hey everyone. Lately, my group has not had the best progress. The biggest reason is due to poor scheduling. 

We have tried attempting in meeting up with each other but someone is always busy with something. Balancing school and social life is such a hassle. Another issue is transportation. We have the places, but we have no way to go there since we all live in different locations and our parents work at different times. However, the plans has changed! We did not let this issue define us and instead we will film all the things we need at Angelica's house. We may not do the movie at her place though, if a certain movie releases and all time is good we will go over there to film. But we're really looking for a "hitting two birds with one stone" type of method. Which is trying to film the most footage we can when we go somewhere. 

Also, we made our storyboard! Which is a frame where you plan out what you are gonna do for your film. Although it was not approved by the standards from our teachers, we at least know what we are gonna do for our music video. We still are going to watch a movie, but instead of going to a beach we might go to a pool. And we still are going to a park, and going out to eat at a restaurant. We still are deciding who is gonna film and act, but we think we might do a fair balance of both. Currently, we plan on going to Aventura Mall and Hollywood Beach. But these are all a maybe! Production Blog - MV

 Welcome once again! There has not been much change since the last blog, but yet we have came across some obstacles in our path.

That obstacle is well known as school assignments. They are the worst! Last weekend, I had to attend a debate tournament. Which ended up in shambles! I had three panic attacks throughout the rounds. I was so embarrassed. But afterward, luckily, I had an invitation to go to a friend's birthday party. Which I gladly accepted! It was a fantastic method to get my mind off what happened earlier. And I didn't expect Angelica to be there, it was so random! But we both had a good time and even took some videos and selfies to put within our music video. 

Also, this week is the week in which quarter one ends for the semester. Me, Angelica, and Jaden share the same AP Spanish class and it has been such a rollercoaster. We were unaware of some assignments being undone, and our grade was also input incorrectly. Jaden also had an assignment he didn't turn in and had to quickly make a speech on the spot in order to make up for it. It was kind of hilarious, but we all ended up completing what he had to do! Recently, we have texted each other and decided to go to a Halloween fair. It is not official yet, but we are looking forward to it. Also, since me and Angelica are in the same group for mock trial, we have been tightly prepping and putting more of our efforts towards the mock trial class. And since I am doing the opening statement, I have been nervous lately about it. It will be my first time, but I guess there is always a first time for everything! Production Blog - Music Video

 Hey bloggers! I have much to say for this blog. So many things have happened throughout the duration of planning for my music video.

In the beginning, I had a group with Vanessa, Natalie, and Jose. It was all well, until we have yet to receive messages from Jose after constantly contacting him. So we thought he cut us off, but he didn't. But it was too late since we already decided to remove him from our group chat. So then it's just me, Vanessa, and Natalie. 

We didn't have a good start with this new group since we are already are a bit unsure of our members. After struggling to schedule a meeting, Vanessa sent us a message and told us she preferred to work alone. So, we all agreed that it was fine and as long as she feels comfortable with her decision, it is all good. So now, it's me and Natalie. 

Like 3 days later, Angelica was shut out of her own group due to poor decision-making on the songs, so she joined our group due to none being available. However, after she joined our group, Natalie has been experiencing struggles and she couldn't get in contact with us due to her phone being taken away. So, she decided to leave on her own choice and to work with her sister Elizabeth. 

After this happened, me and Angelica noticed we had a friend in the same class but without a group. This is where our new member has shown up, his name is Jaden Gonzalez. And so far, we have already gladly planned our storyboard and did our planning blogs. We agreed on the song and we had a great time deciding what process we are going to do. 

I hope this group does not end fast and we can thoroughly do our work to the best ability. Thank you for reading, until the next time!

Meet up in other classes such as study hall, our homeroom class, to try to solve the problems we're facing and see what we can do. If schedule doesn't work, we will try to see what we can do. Most likely do the best we can do to fit them in within the video.

Scene 3-Many string lights everywhere, Ariana is in between the lights, the lights are bright, shes in the same costume and makeup as scene 2. 

Scene 4- Wears a long ponytail, still wearing  address, setting is outside a bunch of buildings, city, on a staircase, on the side of the building and an umbrella as a prop.

My Group For The Music Video

Hello again! This will be a continuous piece of my intro blog about the music video. Today I will go over my group for the music video!

I am working in a group of 4. Myself, and Natalie, Vanessa, and Angelica. I chose to work with them since we all sit at the same table and we have become good friends since the beginning of school. And ever since meeting them, we have helped each other in how to perfect our workpieces. So, I trust them as a reliable and hardworking team to work with.  However, we did have a previous member. But some difficulties came up when we tried to contact them, but we received no response. So, we sadly had to remove them from our group. 

Since we all became friends, we obviously shared interests. Within choosing the song for our music video, we first made a list with songs from our playlists that had some type of message behind them. Then we each individually listened to each of the songs and decided to share our opinions on them. We decided to go for a music video that has the message of the youth. We are young, so we want to represent the definition of how to savor your youth and not rush or waste it. So then we came to a conclusion. The song will be "Ain't it Fun"  by Paramore! 

The meaning of this song is about growing up, facing challenges, and embracing change. The song reminds us that while disappointment and struggle are unavoidable parts of life, we should not give up or stop striving for our dreams. This meaning of the song blends in well with our main message, the youth. During our youth, we face many challenges whether its from our personal relationships or even school. Introduction To The Music Video

 Greetings! My name is Andrea. And for these few weeks, I will work on a music video with a few teammates! I am very excited for the upcoming experience. 

Although some may recognize me already, for the ones who don't, I will gladly go over who I am! Fun fact, I am a beginner at producing blogs and media in general. So, it's not like I am a pro or anything, but I am learning how to create these types of things. But it's not like this topic or genre is new to me, I love listening to music and watching horror movies, so to engage in these activities, it does catch my eye and I am okay with doing them. 

In addition, I'm into many genres of music. I literally listen to everything, even country! But if you were to ask me my favorite song, I wouldn't know what to say. I just have various tastes! Top artists however would definitely be Paramore, any song from the musical Grease, and everything from the 70-90's. Also, for movies, I really love horror movies. Nothing matches up with the conjuring, it's amazing. Although I am a scaredy cat when it comes to the suspense and jumpscares, I just love the mysteriousness and adrenaline from the films. 

For characteristics and traits, I can best describe myself as a bubbly person. Very random, quirky almost. I'm always in a happy mood, and it is very rare for me to get mad at something or someone. However, when it comes to something I love, I'm a diehard and become very determined. Whether it's a project, job, tournament, or friendship, I will always do my best to be great at them. However, let us not create such a perfect image for myself, I also do procrastinate like any other human being, I've been humbled before, and I can say I'm very down to earth.
